Support Maine’s next Great Entrepreneur

Here’s a great opportunity to support the next great Maine Entrepreneur.  Don Gooding at the Maine Center for Entrepreneurial Development runs a program called Top Gun Prep. In my opinion, it provides the best  series of resources and classes for its participants to be successful.  I also really love the fact that it pushes participants to think BIG and make their products/services the best in the world. I believe this is a key element of Maine’s future success.

Now all of us can be a part of supporting that effort.  Don’s started a crowdsourcing campaign to fund scholarships for participants who lack the means.  Each of us can be a part of supporting the next great Maine idea or business by contributing today.

It will help folks like Joel Alex, a 2008 Colby grad, take his company Blue Ox Malthouse to the next level. Blue Ox is working to bring high-quality, craft malt processing of local and regional grains to Maine.  You can learn more about Joel on MCED’s blog.  He’s doing a great job, but knows the Top Gun Prep Program can help with going to the next step.

Supporting and growing Maine’s entrepreneurship culture can only be successful if we all get involved and support it. So whether you can give five bucks or five hundred, I urge you to take a minute to lend your support.
